Phew... 6 hours of work... Mental torture... Shouldn't have worn contacts... Breaking down the 6 hours in the office;
10 mins - Making coffee 10 mins - Eating curry puffs and drinking coffee 10 mins - Going for toilet breaks 30 mins - Taking bets from customers on the phone 1 hour - Listening to the 'old birds' talking about their boring past experiences 2 hours - Stonning and staring into space or talking crap 2 hours - Watching some wierd channel on tv
Can't believe that we only spend 1/12 of our time actually working... I know, it's good money, just doing nothing and earning $8/hr. But its damn boring lar.. haha... Well, I thought I was going to die tonight coz Eddy, sl and the rest were not working today. Luckily for me, Jarod was on shift today, and he just so happened to sit beside me. So we ended up talking crap to past time... and also, gossiping about.. yar, you know who.. hahaha... a certain uncle...
First time working past midnight with only a 10mins break in between. Can tell you, once it's past midnight, and with that kind of sparse call fequency we had tonight, everyone gets affected. One guy actually said to the customer, "Thank you forvotingwith Singapore Pools." Instead of 'betting'. Hah.. Post elections syndrome.. Yups.. and that's about as interesting as the night gets...
Shared a cab back with Jarod, his gf, Kelly and this guy from NUS who stays just outside NTU. First time in a Mercs cab!!! Damn blardie cool!!! Was stunned to see the GPS console inside. And they actually have a walkie talkie system in between cabs lar. So our driver was talking to another driver all the time. Haha.. ok, sry for being a 'tortoise'... really my first time in one.. and what's more, it's FREE!!! Hahaha.. get out of the building, and 4 mercs cabs waiting for us... man I just love Sg Pools!!! Got to work again on monday.. urgh.. least it's only 2 hours of training.. Got to sleep now. Wakey early tmr... sobs... hope I can stay awake...
